the Mission

The Will Graves' Skills Academy was established March 19, 2021 with goals to provide sports training, education, and mentorship to all interested youth. 

​

The Academy's mission is to utilize sports training as a common interest in leveraging education, business etiquette, and personal growth among players.

​

Sports training and education services will also extend to collegiate and professional athletes.

Will graves

Born in Greensboro, North Carolina, Will Graves is an American professional basketball player who last played for FC Porto of the Liga Portuguesa de Basquetbol (LPB). Graves started playing basketball at the age of 4 years old at the Central YMCA formally located in downtown Greensboro. Growing up he played for local AAU team the Greensboro Warriors. Graves was a prolific athletic performer as a youth winning back to back High School State Championships along with the individual accolade of the 2006 North Carolina Mr. Basketball award. He played college basketball for The University of North Carolina @ Chapel Hill before playing professionally in Japan, Argentina, Venezuela, Cyprus, Uruguay, Iceland, Israel, and Portugal. Graves has lived and played professionally in 9 different countries on 5 separate continents.

2012 LPB Venezuela Professional Champion (Marinos de Anzoategui)

2016 & 2017 Israeli Winner League All-Star (Maccabi Haifa)
